3. Thesis Statement : Females are trying diets ts and are exercising like it is a competition to see who can lose the most weight the quickest.
4. I believe the introduction paragraph was effective because it explained how girls are trying to change their lifestyle to become a model. "Females are trying diets and exercising like it is a competition to see who can lose the most weight the quickest." Girls are going to the beyond to try to fit this look as the "models." Now it is a problem to these girls because the ones that have been trying to be "thin" for a while now, has developed an eating disorder to try to deal with their lack of self-esteem or other related problems.
5. Conclusion paragraph used suggestion.
6. The conclusion was effective to me because it summarized up what they talked about in the essay. It talked about eating disorders and what the girls are doing is an major thing that causes it. They are willing to starve themselves to death for a little satisfaction on the outside. All they look forward to is to look thin like the super models that are on TV, and are willing to go to the extreme to try to fit that image.
